US experience fighting Iran offers lessons for China, experts say

This image provided by the US Air Force shows the US Army Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) launching station preparing to load onto a 4th Airlift Squadron C-17 Globemaster III at Fort Bliss, Texas, on February 23, 2019.   Staff Sgt. US fires on Iranian oil tanker as Trump pressures Tehran for deal to end war

WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. military fired on an Iranian oil tanker Wednesday as President Donald Trump sought to pressure Tehran into reaching a deal to end  the war . The Islamic Republic said it was reviewing the latest American proposals. But he said that depends on Iran accepting a reported agreement that the president did not detail. “If they don’t agree, the bombing starts,” Trump wrote.
